The Roosevelt•East Rutherford

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt took our country out of Prohibition and that event and era inspired our concept which is The Roosevelt. During the Prohibition era people had to sneak away to hidden bars called Speakeasies for drinks. Flappers danced to the Charleston and drank Bath Tub Gin. People weren't deterred by Prohibition and everyone seemed to know how to have a really good time! We paid a great deal of attention to detail when designing The Roosevelt in order to transport our patrons back in time to that era! When you visit The Roosevelt, you will discover a unique experience around every corner from our art deco-inspired Saloon and Dining Room, to our Private Dining Room called The Hideout which seats up to 6 patrons or Lucy’s Parlor (our hidden Speakeasy). We hope you can stop in soon to channel your inner Gatsby with us! In addition to innovative dining options and Prohibition themed craft cocktails we offer early and late night Happy Hour menus and Redemption Brunch on Sundays. If you stop in on a Friday or Saturday night you might experience music from one of our legendary DJs or Small Ensemble Bands. Our Speakeasy and Dining Room are both available for private parties and events. Thanks for thinking of us and please check out The Roosevelt on Instagram and Facebook @theroosevelt356.
