Inspired by La Peregrina—the world-famous pearl that passed from the Spanish monarchy to Napoleon Bonaparte’s brother before appearing on the neck of Elizabeth Taylor—our rooftop bar and restaurant, La Perla, occupies what was once the penthouse suite where the starlet lived during her marriage to Nicky Hilton. Now, it’s been reborn as a contemporary rooftop bar, with impressive views of El Paso, the surrounding Rocky Mountains, as well as over the borders of Mexico and New Mexico. Admire the saturated hues of the desert sunset with a vintage craft cocktail in hand, and sample our tapas-style, seafood-driven plates by Chef Acosta.
