Yakuza House is the first Handroll Bar in the New Orleans-Metairie, LA area, but we're more than just a bar! We offer a plethora of appetizers, cooked items as well as raw sushi, including traditional handrolls, dressed nigiri (must-try!), sashimis, donburi bowls, and fish flown overnight from Japan's well-known Toyosu Fish Market. Our restaurant consists of 3 dining areas: the Izakaya/Liquor Bar (walk-in only!), the Handroll/Sushi/Raw Bar (main dining room) and an extended Dining Room that can double as a Private Event room: 1) Izakaya Bar aka Yakuza House's full Liquor Bar is first-come, first-serve only; with 8-10 seats every evening where the full menu is offered, but sorry, no Omakases here. We have a few TVs and a great selection of cocktails, sake, wines, and spirits, including Japanese whisky. **We are no longer BYOB, but with a corkage fee of $25 per bottle. 2) The Main Dining Room includes our Handroll/Sushi/Raw Bar with 16 bar-stool seatings, 3 tables and 4 booths. Reservations are strongly encouraged, but not required based on availability. Any party 6 or larger must call us for a reservation. 3a) Extended Dining Room - This room is an extension of our main dining room. Larger parties of 6-12 guests can reserve tables given our availability. Any parties 6 or more -- please call our restaurant directly and have your credit card ready to place as a hold for the reservation. 3b) Private Event Room - Must be reserved at least 3 weeks in advance given our availability; only select dates available. $250-400/deposit required.
