We happened upon a perfect cozy space at Caroll Street, and Cotra was born. The idea of the restaurant was to make a restaurant totally reimagining the Meiji restoration era when Japan first became open to modern trade. Our cuisine and beverages are also imagined retro and rustic with Japanese spirits and cocktails.
