History Family business in its essence, a Beher – whose name derives from the name of its founder, Bernardo Hernandez – is made by the excellence of two of its 100% Iberian pork products. Raised in the 30s in Guijuelo, at the height of the business around which it was alleged that it was still supported by buyers and representatives who started from the combination in search of new clients, the company grew but never lost its traditional and family tradition – up to date , only three of the Gerações of the Bernardo Hernandez family have to take two destinations for the group. Despite the competition in Guijuelo being very small (it is estimated that the number of companies linked to the meat industry in small Spanish towns is around 100), Beher stands out from the rest for having its own animal production since the 1980s. which allows the company to control the entire breeding process of two Iberian pigs, from artificial insemination to slaughter, guaranteeing that the raw material that is transformed into a wide variety of products has guaranteed quality. For the most part, to highlight its portfolio, Beher also sells fresh meat (and deep-frozen), chouriço, salsichão, cured lombo, among many other products.
