De Zoete Wever•Beveren (Roeselare)
European•€€
De Zoete Wever is the baby of Marijke and Gunther... With more than 20 years of experience in the baking world, the love for sweet has always remained, thus De Zoete Wever was born. Not coincidentally a reference to "the weaver". The Sweet Weaver has found its home in the former building of "Café De Wever". Since 1900 there has always been a café here, always under the name "De Wever". Which in turn refers to the fascinating past of weaving in Roeselare. Of course you can still find a wink here and there. Gunther immersed himself in the pancakes, poffertjes and pancakes. While Marijke took care of the coffee and barista part. We aim for cozy and homey, but most of all we aim for normal, so we bake everything in front of you! As if you walk into a friend's kitchen... The baker's bug is still present, we like to spoil you with our delicious breakfasts... Whether it's home made granola, pancakes or the traditional breakfast with oven fresh rolls and cookies, nice glass of fruit juice and fresh cut fruit. Together with a nice big cup of coffee. Blessed to wake up ;)
