Hill Family Estate was born out of the desire for a family to work together. Third-generation farmer Doug Hill grew prunes and apples along the Russian River before moving to the Napa Valley in the 1970s to manage vineyards.     Join us in downtown Yountville at our historic tasting room for a seated wine tasting. Explore an array of wines made from grapes that owner Doug Hill has been farming since the 1970s.     Grapevine Wreath-Making Class

    Visit Hill Family Estate during the holiday season and participate in a grapevine wreathmaking class. Learn how to craft custom wreaths from the grapevine canes clipped from our vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. Enjoy a glass of wine and breakfast pastries while constructing your one-of-a-kind grapevine art, and take home your masterpiece once complete. Classes are held every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings.$40/person includes a glass of wine, light bites and your take-home wreath.

    Secret Garden Tour

    The Secret Garden Tour is an exploration of Hill Family Farms, an idyllic oasis hidden in the middle of a residential community, about 5 minutes from the Hill Family tasting room in Yountville. The Secret Garden Tour is offered seasonally by appointment from June through September at 11:00am and is limited to 8 guests. The tour is followed by a seated tasting at our tasting room in Yountville. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children on this tour.     Blind Tasting

    Do you have what it takes to be a Master Sommelier? Put your palate to the test as you taste four wines concealed in black Riedel glasses. During this educational tasting you will learn the unique characteristics of grape varieties, vineyard appellations and vintages to help you guess what wine is in each glass.
