Prepare to embark on a culinary journey that bridges the gap between classic Portuguese cuisine and modern New American Gastronomy. Mugaritz Alum Chef Leandro Carreira and pastry chef Marcio Baltazar will be in from Portugal to join Chef Anthony Goncalves and the culinary team at Kanopi for a two-night dinner series that will showcase the chefs' shared passion for both traditions.The talented trio will create a custom menu that reflects their honor and reverence for classic Portuguese cuisine while incorporating the fresh, seasonal ingredients of the Hudson Valley, using Leandro's cookbook "Portugal: The Cookbook" as inspiration. Kitchen Table
The Kitchen Table is at the center of Kanopi, its heart and soul. Here the team serves a Portuguese Omakase experience. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to sit directly inside our kitchen and interact with the chefs. The menu price is $275 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax & gratuity. Please plan for 2.5 to 3 hours for your experience. A $150 per person deposit is required to confirm your seats. This will be applied to your bill at the conclusion of your meal. The Kitchen Table is open to two parties of two guests each night. If you reserve all four seats and would like to add on an additional two guests for a total of six, please call us to arrange.
