    Cantina del Pino Cru Night

Join us on Wednesday October 2 when we open and enjoy the wines of Cantina del Pino. The very first bottling of a wine called Barbaresco, came from the Ovello vineyard in Barbaresco. Cantina del Pino, one of the oldest estates there, has been owned by the Vacca Family since the early 1920s, it is named for the beautiful pine tree on the top of the Ovello hill, whereon lies the Ovello vineyard. In 1997, Renato Vacca left his work at Produttori del Barbaresco, the renown cooperative winery organized by his father and uncle in 1958, and began bottling the wines under the Cantina label, they produce about 1700 cases annually.
