Since our first vintage in 1987, Linden has been driven by the impact of vineyard site on wine style. More recently, we’ve seen climate change intensify the signature of vintage variation. These themes are the focus of our informative and seasonal tastings comparing vintage or terroir influences. Due to the quiet and reflective nature of our tastings, reservations are limited to a maximum of four people. No multiple reservations to combine a group larger than four. Seminar | November 3 | Blind Tasting – Exploring Varietals
Open to anyone interested in learning how to identify grape varietals and their characteristics through the blind tasting process. We will compare white varietals to explore their differences. The fee includes Linden's current tasting, which takes place after this seminar. About Blind Tasting and Our SeminarsTasting without knowing what wine is in the glass is referred to as “blind tasting.” At Linden our staff does this regularly to distinguish differences in wine and train our palates. Blind tasting allows the senses to work without the prejudice of expectation. You can concentrate on specific characteristics. And it is fun! With the diversity of vintages, varietals, and terroirs at Linden Vineyards, we have many options for blind tasting our wines. In a new series of seminars, our tasting room staff is excited to introduce participants to the art of blind tasting and share Linden wines in this new context. The seminars are led by Cindy Chambers, a member of Linden's tasting room staff. She first discovered Linden in the early 1990's when she began her wine education. Over the years, Cindy has expanded her knowledge of wines through courses, seminars, and tastings. She has visited wineries and vineyards throughout the US, Canada, and Europe, and enjoys introducing family and friends to wine from her travels.

2024 Harvest and Crush | Tour and Tasting
From September 6 to October 6, we are bringing back our special harvest and crush tours with comparative tastings. This is your opportunity to see up close how wine is made. Crush is the winemaking term for all the activity after picking the grapes—extracting the juice and starting fermentation. Our educational tour begins in the vineyard, continues on the crush pad, and then into the cellar. You'll be able to taste (grapes, juice, fermenting wine), see (harvest or crush, depending on the day), and smell (fermentation aromas are intoxicating). We'll finish the tour with our comparative wine tasting.
