It was designed with intention, is ambitious in its sourcing, and contains broad offerings. On-site Chef Ryan Maher, has curated a menu based on healthy food that is still craveable. The menu’s mission statement: “Creating the best tasting food, that still aligns with member’s health initiatives.”- Maher began baking with his Mother at 5 years old. That early passion for cooking led him to Culinary School at Kendall College and a job at the Peninsula Hotel. In 2014 he met his mentor Chef Lee Wolen of James Beard Award Winning Boka Restaurant Group which began a journey with him at the Michelin starred Lobby at the Peninsula, Michelin starred Boka, and Somerset. Ryan’s special skill sets are highlighted in his role with BIÂN: flexibility of cuisine, managing a team, and curating a menu that is symmetrical to the restaurant’s ethos.

He'll sit down for an interactive conversation with Kevin Boehm, BIÂN Co-Founder, James Beard Award winner, and devoted Cubs fan.
