Our menu draws inspiration from Italian and Portuguese traditions, a nod to Connie’s heritage, while celebrating seasonal, artisanal, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. From our handmade pastas and vegetable-forward sharing plates to our house-cured meats, butcher cuts, and rotisserie prime rib of Alberta beef, we take a back to basics, back to flavour approach by evolving simple ingredients. BUTCHERINA Dinner Series
The BUTCHERINA Dinner Series debuts with Chef Kiki Aranita, co-chef and former owner of the award-winning Poi Dog restaurant, known for celebrating underrepresented multicultural cuisines. The event offers a high-energy kitchen party followed by a multi course tasting menu inspired by both a collaborating chef and butcher. Held in Butcherina located in the back of CHARCUT University District, the intimate space provides views into Canada's first Butcher Show Kitchen. A portion of proceeds supports the CHAR Hospitality Fund through the Calgary Foundation, directly impacting our local community.
