With them they brought the memories, traditions, and recipes of the old country. For over 14 years my parents operated an Italian restaurant in Ontario. This journey continued when I moved to Calgary, inspired by my father, I continued working in the restaurant industry. His legacy and my exposure to the diverse food culture in the city helped shape the concept of D.O.P. Being a second generation Canadian, I want to honour both my Italian roots and Canadian upbringing, by sharing our families’ recipes and adapting them to our Canadian landscape.We are privileged to share with you the time-old traditions and memories of a family whose passion for Italian cooking created a legacy. So come on in, leave your shoes on and let’s make more.
