    DISHING UP WITH YASUSHI - October Experience

    Join Yasushi in the kitchen and create your favorite bowl of Shoki's ramen while learning about the history and how he makes your ramen. Experience dishing up your bowl, fluffing your noodles & more. Yasushi will prepare a “omakase” bento for you to enjoy along with a choice of sake cocktail and/or non alcoholic drink. Take home with you our apron, fukubukuro & great memories.This experience will be offered only in October, so sign up soon!

    Bowl of Suenos Workshop - 2 Day Workshop

    Join us through a hands-on workshop where you will learn to create a ceramic ramen bowl in the first class and, the second class learn to make Ramen. ALMa Design Studio & Shoki’s Ramen will be combining the love of each craft in this interactive two-part workshop. Ceramic Class: For the first session you will be joining ALMa Design Studio to learn to create your own personalized Ramen bowl. This class will start with the do’s and don’ts of creating a Ramen Bowl using the slab technique. During the first class students will see encouraged to explore and play with adding decorations using a score and slip method to personalize your bowl. You will choose a glaze color of your choice and from here ALMa Desgin studio will glaze and fire your new bowl, making it food ready for the tastiest part, making Ramen with Shoki’s. Ramen Class: For the second session, you will be joining Yasushi in the kitchen and create your own bowl of ramen while learning about the history and how he makes your ramen. You will get to “dish up” your favorite Shoki’s ramen, fluff your noodles, and learn to broth your ramen and then top your ramen! Yasushi will also have special drinks for you to enjoy. The best part is enjoying your ramen in the bowl you created at ALMa Design Studio.During both sessions, special drinks and snacks will be provided by Shoki’s. All participants will take home one ceramic ramen bowl, one chopstick holder and a “fukubukuro” (lucky bag) from Shoki. THIS IS A TWO-SESSION WORKSHOP. Ticket price includes BOTH workshops.
