Event
wine education
RESERVATION IS REQUIRED Café des Amis is pleased to embark on a new series of educational wine tastings for those who want to learn about, purchase and collect, French wines. These tastings will be taught and guided by Rich Zellich from Pinnacle Imports. Each tasting will run approximately 60-75 minutes and will feature 6 wines from the region(s) that we will study. The tasting is limited to just 24 guests. For this first tasting, called The ABC’s of French Wine, we will focus on Alsace, Burgundy and Champagne, and Rich will be providing a general overview of French wines as well, to give you the ‘building blocks’ for future tastings. After the tasting, each wine will be available for purchase at very special prices. The cost of the class is $25 per guest.
