Indonesian cuisine is a collection of various regional culinary traditions that formed the archipelagic nation of Indonesia. There are a wide variety of recipes and cuisines in part because Indonesia is composed of approximately 6,000 populated islands of the total 17,508 in the world's largest archipelago, with more than 1,300 ethnic groups. Many regional cuisines exist, often based upon indigenous culture with some foreign influences. Indonesia has around 5,350 traditional recipes, with 30 of them considered the most important. Here are some for you! Bon appétit! And what makes Indonesian coffee so special? Well as for our coffee, did you know that Indonesia with her annual production of 564 000 tonnes is the 4th largest producer of coffee in the world? Well, with our partners, we work with many local farmers where the coffee cherries are hand-picked, sorted and sun dried before being carefully selected for export. Our emphasis is on sustainable, fair-trade single origin coffees sourced directly from small family run producers which are imported and freshly roasted by our local partners. We hope to see you soon at our café to enjoy these delights. Children welcome. Accessible for persons with reduced mobility with specially designed toilets to allow wheelchair access.
