Having slung his top-notch Neapolitan pizzas from a specially rigged, wood-oven-equipped truck for several years, local pizzaiolo Jon Darsky opened this lower Nob Hill spot four years ago, and now has two Michelin Bib Gourmand listing under his belt. While it's easily some of the best pizza in the city, the menu also boasts Chef Michael Logan's seasonally, market-driven changing appetizers and small plates. This version of Del Popolo offers a more expansive menu but with the same attention to detail and thoughtfulness that has always formed the core of our approach to making pizza.
