El Zócalo was born as a family business in 1991 in San Salvador, El Salvador. For years the name has remained an icon of Mexican food in Central America with a vision of expansion at the national and international level. That vision of expansion is materialized when arriving in Chile in 2018, as a result of an alliance between two friendly families.
