Tasca da Esquina, new Portuguese flavors in São Paulo With the same concept as Tasca da Esquina Lisboa - “We want you to feel good, close to us!”, The team led by chef Vitor Sobral opened the doors of Tasca da Esquina in Jardins, a São Paulo neighborhood with a lot of gastronomic tradition. Vitor has been visiting Brazil for more than 15 years and considers himself a great lover of the country, valuing the exchange of experiences, as well as the friendship he has developed with Brazilian chefs and cooks. Vitor conceived a very relaxed atmosphere and combines the style of well-kept and simple cuisine with quality products, always with mastery in cooking. The snacks, prepared with great care, also have a special emphasis on the menu. The informal concept of Tasca da Esquina São Paulo is equivalent to that of the headquarters in Lisbon. It is important to note that the team of chefs pays attention to all details, from the choice of raw materials, some imported from Portugal, as well as utensils such as porcelain, bowls and cutlery. Tasca da Esquina São Paulo also reserved a space where the client can have lunch in the company of the chefs and dine at the moment's relaxation and, occasionally, attend gastronomy classes. This space, very close to the kitchen, has the purpose of providing a more intimate contact between creation and tasting. Chefs are always on hand to have a simple conversation and provide a visual empathy for the day-to-day cooking. Eat and Drink - At Tasca da Esquina, the chef's team presents an author's cuisine so authentic, that the most attentive can, through flavors, identify a little, or somewhat, of the chef's personality. The Space - Signed by the Portuguese architect Paula Moura, the line is the same adopted in Lisbon and the purpose of the place is very precise: to make all visitors feel at home. As a highlight in the space, the chefs of Vítor Sobral's team prepare the dishes in plain view, behind the counter, at the restaurant's entrance. Watch out for wine - The national and international wines from the Charter have been carefully selected. In Tasca, a large percentage of wines are sold in glasses and each one is so carefully treated that the customer will feel that the bottle has been opened just for him.
