We’ll be celebrating the best of autumn with a game menu showcasing some of the produce from the estate. We’ll be working with Carolyn and Phill Bostock, long-time supporters of The Harewood Food and Drink Project, who will be supplying the game birds for the evening. The star of the show will be a selection of cuts of Harewood venison, utilising the whole animal and showing what a versatile and sustainable option venison is. A feast fit for royalty(Due to the nature of this event, we will be unable to cater for vegetarians or vegans. We will cater for gluten, lactose, and nuts. Festive Feast at the Hovels
To celebrate Christmas this year, we'll be hosting a celebratory banquet dinner at the Hovels.Our Head Event Chef Will Campbell has designed a winter inspired tasting menu bursting with festive flavours, made using the very best of seasonal ingredients.The event will run on the 20th & 21st December.Tickets are priced at £95 per person with a£30 deposit paid at the time of booking and the remainder payable on the night.

DINING ROOM AT THE HOVELSwith guest chefNATHAN DAVIES22nd & 23rd NovemberWe're excited to be kicking off our Autumn and Winter events by welcoming a chef of exceptional pedigree.Nathan is former Head Chef of SY23 Restaurant in Aberystwyth, Wales and star of the BBC's Great British Menu.His restaurant was awarded a Michelin star within its first year of opening and also won the coveted best new opening by the Michelin inspectors.Prior to this Nathan worked as Head Chef for four years, at what's regarded by many, as the best restaurant in the UK, two Michelin star ** Ynyshir.Nathans style of food is heavily influenced by the seasons with creative uses of locally grown, reared and foraged ingredients. His love of working with the seasons and fire cookery works perfectly alongside our own ethos, we're excited to be working with such a talented chef.KEY INFOTickets are priced at £135 per person. There will be a £30 deposit taken at the time of booking with the remainder paid on the night.The price includes a full tasting menu and a welcome drink.We expect the evening to take a total of 4 hours with an arrival time of 7pm.The Hovels is a Grade II listed converted stable block in the heart of the Harewood Estate.

George earned rave reviews for his simple, thoughtful cookery with dishes firmly rooted in theclassics, always paying homage to the produce. In 2021 George realised a long-held ambition and released his first cookbook entitled, A Year In The Kitchen. It celebrates the annual cookery cycle, taking readers on a journey through the British seasons, showcasing native produce and inspiring year-round creativity. In 2022 George left London behind, and moved back home to his native Yorkshire, where he has, for the time being, stepped out of the kitchen and now works for Swaledale butchers. Developing recipes and new products, as well as cooking and styling for photoshoots it is a company and a role that feeds his passion for food and its provenance.
