    Chocolate + Wine Pairing

    The holidays are right around the corner, and Living Roots is hosting our friends from Laughing Gull chocolates for a chocolate and wine pairing to get you inspired for the season. Join our wine educator Shomari Smoak and Laughing Gull's Lindsay Tarnoff for an in depth, educational tasting and demonstration.Classes include 5 [2oz] tastings, 5 chocolate tastings and crackers to cleanse the palate between tastings. Additional food items may be purchased alongside your ticket [next page] and can be picked up in the tasting room prior to class.All attendees receive a 10% discount for use in the Tasting Room day of [stackable with other discounts].

    Mystery Wine Tasting

    *New! Priced per team member* We recommend teams of at least 2 contestants.Where trivia meets tannins. Gather a few friends, pick a fun team name, and put your palate to the test for a chance to take home the evening's prize. You'll taste through four mystery wines [from a variety of producers, plus some bonus comparative tastes] and answer a range of questions relating to them.You’re welcome to order additional drinks/food from our tasting room menu on the next page or day of, and attendees will receive 10% off all tasting room purchases on the day of the class.

    Private Tastings

    Book a guided private tasting for 7 - 24 people. Your group will taste through six wines in the Vault overlooking our urban winery, with optional add-ons of cheese/charcuterie/ sweets. The tasting will last 2 hours [with ~1 hour for tasting, ~30 minutes before and after for ordering by-the-glass/bottle]. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for cakes from certified vendors for which we charge a $25 cake cutting service fee.*The cost of the tasting is subject to 20% gratuity and NYS tax. Any other purchases on the day of your private tasting will be in addition to this. Payment for these additional purchases will be taken at the end of your visit. Because of the nature of this event, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations -- cancellations made before 48 hours will receive a full refund; those made within the 48 hour window will be charged for half of the ticket price. We thank you for your understanding in advance. Weekend dates are up on Tock, and some weekdays are available by request.     Tasting Room

    We offer guided flights and wine service in our tasting room or more casual hangs on our patio weather permitting.Reservations are for tables, where wine can be enjoyed by the flight, glass or bottle. Don’t see any reservation availability? We accept walk-ins at the bar and our seasonal outdoor patio and deck!Please note: Our largest tables seat 6. At this time, we unfortunately cannot accommodate table service to parties larger than this. If you're looking to reserve something for a larger group, please take a look at our Private Tastings. Many of our tables are high tops; please let us know if you require or prefer a lower table. The bar is available for walk-ins only, on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited seating, each reservation is for 1 hour 45 minutes. If you are more than 20 minutes late and we have not heard from you, we may make your table available for other guests.
