Sterling Vineyards is well known for many things, one being our incredible Gondola. Our Gondola carries visitors up the hill to our winery which stands on a hilltop 300 feet above the town of Calistoga.     Tour and Terrace Experience

    Enjoy the breath-taking views as you ascend to our winery via an aerial gondola. Upon arrival at the top of the hill, you'll enjoy leisurely self-guided wine tasting of three wines as you stroll the winery for a behind the scenes look at the art and science of winemaking. This experience concludes with a seated tasting of two wines and a cheese board on our elevated Southview Terrace overlooking the Napa Valley, weather permitting. 90 minute experience.Please note: - In times of extreme heat, the aerial gondola may be closed due to health and safety concerns. Luxury shuttle transport will be available.-If anyone in your party is heat sensitive, we recommend an appointment early in the day. Summer and fall afternoons can be quite warm.

    Hilltop Experience

    Enjoy the Aerial Gondola ride to our hilltop winery and a seated wine tasting experience on our Hilltop Tasting Room, featuring a selection of winery exclusive wines paired with local cheese and charcuterie. This experience is open to guests 21+. Please note: -Due to heat or other safety precautions, the aerial tram may close. If this occurs, Luxury Shuttles will provide service to the winery. -If anyone in the party is heat sensitive, we recommend a reservation early in the day.-The Hilltop Experience is hosted exclusively in our Hilltop Tasting Room . Due to occupancy limits, our main tour way and South View Terrace is only open to guests on our Signature Experience.

    Holidays at Sterling Vineyards

    Sterling Vineyards is transforming our Hilltop Tasting Room to celebrate the Holidays. Join us for a special, holiday-themed food and wine pairing in our Hilltop Tasting Room paired with some of our favorite wines for the season. All guests will have the opportunity to take part in our ornament decorating. In addition to the holiday activities, we’ll also be hosting a Toys for Tots drive to bring help bring joy to kids in our communities. The experience is approximately 90 Mins long with multiple slots available throughout the day. Guests attending this holiday experience must be 21+.
