Humble Pie is a neighborhood restaurant offering chef-driven dishes and pizza from the team behind Atlanta’s acclaimed James Beard nominated Lazy Betty and Juniper Cafe (just named a 2022 Best New Restaurant by bon appétit!), including Chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, the restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Monday. Weekday lunch, happy hour and a late night menu will both launch at a later time. The kitchen will be led by Executive Chef Evelyn Ling, Hsu’s cousin, and Chef de Cuisine Lorien Vilchez. Evelyn worked in the kitchen at sister restaurant Juniper Cafe and previously as a Sous Chef at Bacchanalia Chef Lorien previously worked at Lazy Betty before being promoted to chef de cuisine at Humble Pie. The duo will serve vegetable-forward dishes using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients from farms and producers like Diamond City Farms, Rock House Creamery, Spotted Trotter, DaySpring Farms and Fripper's. The lunch and dinner menus will feature chef-driven share plates, creative wood-fired pizzas, a tight selection of entrees and artisanal pies and ice cream for dessert. Highlights will include the likes of Oven Roasted Half Chicken with Diamond City Farms arugula, fried shallot, herb vinaigrette & parmesan, Potato Pie with crispy potato croquette. Those looking to drink will be able to enjoy a specially curated wine program featuring bio-dynamic and organic bottles, a craft cocktail program, and plenty of beers on draft.
