Miller Union takes its name from the historic Miller Union Stockyards, which once spanned an entire city block in Atlanta’s 1880s meatpacking district. Housed in a thoughtfully refurbished warehouse, the restaurant was established in 2009 by Steven Satterfield and Neal McCarthy and has since become a beloved fixture in Atlanta’s culinary scene. Known for its unwavering commitment to sustainability, Miller Union works closely with local farmers and producers, earning it a place on numerous top 100 lists across the nation. In 2017, Steven Satterfield was honored as “Best Chef: Southeast” by the James Beard Foundation. The restaurant was also a James Beard Foundation Awards finalist for “Outstanding Wine Program” in 2019 and 2020, and Executive Pastry Chef Claudia Martinez was recognized as a 2022 finalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef.
