Hasaki, opened in 1984, was the first Japanese restaurant opened by our owner, a restauranteur with seventeen New York City Japanese food establishments under his belt. He named it after his hometown in Japan. Since then, it's been known for consistent, high-quality sashimi and Edomae-style sushi. Several tiers of omakase are on offer, as well as a list of daily a la carte items. Hidden down a short flight of stairs in the East Village, Hasaki is a longstanding neighborhood gem.
