Perched on the 63rd floor of Art Deco masterpiece 70 Pine Street, Saga is a contemporary fine dining restaurant in Manhattan’s Financial District. Less than a year after it opened, Saga was awarded two stars from the Michelin Guide. In the summer of 2024, Charlie Mitchell was appointed as executive chef. His first menu will go live in January 2025. What distinguishes the menu at Saga from its peer set is that some courses are served family-style. Diners are encouraged to pull apart flatbread with their hands and assemble bites using disparate elements and sauces. The flavor profiles of each dish are inspired by the immigrant communities in New York City, many of which are represented in our kitchen. The unifying factor is that each dish is prepared precisely and delicately, using techniques unique to restaurants with the resources of fine dining, incorporating the flavors of North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
