    Fall Release Event

    You are invited to attend the Joseph Phelps Spring Release Weekend on November 1 - 3, 2024. Visit Napa Valley during the fall and be among the first to taste the 2022 Insignia barrel sample. Guests will also enjoy live music and hear the stories behind our wines while enjoying Ovation and library selections of Insignia and Backus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, all paired with bites from our winery culinary team. The seating for this experience is communal.$150 per person, Phelps Preferred Members are offered $75 per member for up to two peopleIf you plan on attending with another member, please contact the reservations department so that we may seat all parties together

    Collector's Tasting

    A seated private tasting in one of our indoor rooms tailored to your visit and conducted by one of our Senior Wine Educators. Guests will be guided through a curated selection of our current Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast releases, including our flagship wine, Insignia, and a selection from the library. During your experience, the Joseph Phelps Culinary Team will present to each guest seasonal items prepared from our kitchen to further delight the palate. This private, seated tasting lasts 90 minutes.

    Insignia Retrospective Tasting

    Experience a multi-vintage tasting of our flagship wine, Insignia. This is a rare opportunity to taste select library vintages of Insignia in addition to our current offering. $350 per person, charged at time of booking. Phelps Preferred members are offered a 20% discount on up to four reservations. Additional guests will be charged full price. This semi-private, seated tasting lasts 90 minutes and is offered on select Saturdays of each month at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

    Founder's Tasting

    Enjoy a relaxed, seated tasting featuring a selection of our current release Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast wines, including our flagship wine, Insignia. Guests may sit on the terrace overlooking our estate vineyards or in our Historic Guest Center while a Wine Educator guides you through each wine selection. We suggest approximately 75 minutes for this tasting. $120 per person. Non-tasters will be charged $20 per person. This tasting is payable upon booking. Members: To receive your Phelps Preferred discount, please use the email address associated with your membership and the membership needs to be active.

    Vineyard Hike & Tasting

    Immerse yourself in the history of our winery’s beginnings through a vineyard hike among the vines of our Home Ranch in St. Helena. At the conclusion of your journey, you will return to the winery for a seated tasting. Guests will be guided through a selection of our current releases, including our flagship wine, Insignia. As your tasting experience progresses, our Culinary Team will present each guest with seasonal items prepared from our kitchen. This communal experience is offered on select weekends May-October. $250 per person, Phelps Preferred members are offered a 20% discount on up to four reservations.

    Savor the bounty of our region through a wine and food journey. Join us for an unforgettable experience of pairing seasonal ingredients with the extraordinary wines of Joseph Phelps Vineyards. Begin your visit with a selection of canapés, followed by a wine and food pairing to delight your senses. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with Joseph Phelps wines, including the latest vintage of Insignia. Please allow two and half hours for this semi-private experience. It is offered at our indoor communal table at 12pm. Payment is charged at time of booking. Phelps Preferred members are offered a 20% discount for four guests, additional guests are charged full price. This is an educational pairing menu, no extreme dietary restrictions.
