Founded in 1971 on top of Spring Mountain in St. Helena, Smith-Madrone may be the quintessential definition of an 'artisanal' winery.     Smith-Madrone Tasting

    Join with us in celebrating our five decades of making fine wines on Spring Mountain. This tour and tasting takes place in our working barn-winery and will include spectacular views of the Napa Valley floor. Learn about our grapes including Chardonnay, Riesling and the Bordeaux varietals. Taste our artisanal estate wines including the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Chardonnay, Estate Riesling, Estate Rose and proprietary prestige cuvee, Cook's Flat Reserve.Warning: during September and October when we are in the middle of harvest and at our busiest, we may have to cancel a reservation at the last minute. We will do our utmost to avoid doing so. You will of course be fully reimbursed.
