    World's Finest Sleight of Hand

    We are honored to welcome Eric Mead as our inaugural performer at 69 Atlantic. Eric is one of the greatest performers of close up magic in the world. He is also a fixture on the intellectual speaking circuit with multiple appearances at the Aspen Ideas Festival, TEDMED, and most recently the Nobel Prize Summit. Ticketed public performances are extremely rare for Eric, so we are deeply excited to host his first such New York City appearances in more than twenty years. For connoisseurs of great sleight-of-hand, this is a can’t miss event. This event is 21+ (free wine will be served). Performance will be about one hour. No late seating.

Hot off a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Andrew will fly direct from London to present the U.S. debut of "Cards on the Table" at 69 Atlantic in Brooklyn.In this intimate show, Andrew recounts how he stumbled upon the world of magic in a second-hand bookshop. He delves into the mechanics of secret techniques, the level of discipline needed to become a card cheat, and how feigning good fortune can bring about genuine luck. The entire 60-minute show is performed with a single deck of 52 playing cards.Andrew Frost is widely admired by expert magicians and his baffling instagram videos have developed a devoted following. David Blaine has called him "a phenomenon" and Derren Brown has described him as "a brilliant magician." Andrew has been obsessed with practicing sleight of hand magic for over two decades. The results of his hard work are nothing less than astonishing.
