    Horseback Adventure

    Ever had a dream where you’re riding a horse through a sea of fog that blankets endless rows of vines that happen to bud the same fruit that you’ll soon be sipping, all while taking in the fresh breeze and picturesque, surrounding views of the San Pablo Bay? Whew! We had a pinch me moment just writing that. And we’re happy to report that this is in fact, reality.We’ve teamed up with the lovely Sonoma Valley Trail Rides to bring this magical experience to life. We hope it will leave you with memories that last a lifetime and give you a new appreciation for grape growing, where wine all begins.Guests will enjoy a guided ride in the saddle through Poseidon Vineyard in Carneros, Napa where you’ll learn anything and everything about grapes, winemaking, and of course... horses. And you will leave with a bottle of Obsidian wine, included in the price of this adventure!We hope you’ll join us. After all, wine keeps us “stable.” Coincidence? We say neigh.

    For parties of 1–8 guests. Tastings are from 11:00am to 5pm daily. Tastings options are $30 and $50 per person and are payable when you visit. Please note all Base Camp experiences are for people 21+ over and designated drivers.     Cellar Table

    The Cellar Table is a small group food-and-wine pairing focusing on a series of comparative tastings of our wines served with small bites prepared on site by our wonderful Chef. This two-hour experience in our wine cellar tasting room makes for a fun, delicious and informative adventure. With a combination of our current release, library, and yet-to-be-bottled wines on the menu, there is something new to discover for all Obsidian fans.A tasting at the Cellar Table is an education about more than our wines and barrels. It is an informative and informal discussion about the winemaking cycle and how it works in harmony with nature and builds community.     Winter Fest

    Bringing people together over shared connection and new experiences is at the very core of our work. We are eager to bring our community together and express our gratitude to our Wine Club members in particular for all your support.Join the Molnars, winemaker Alex Beloz and the extended Obsidian family in our barrel cellar for a celebration of the season, complete with warm, homemade stew, a tasting of current release wines and barrel samples, and first dibs to purchase limited bottlings for your holidays.
