This new hot spot from the Condesa “La Perla Negra”, a hidden kitchen that will elevate your senses through its gastronomic experience that will not only offer you a spectacular menu but also a unique atmosphere in the area, an unexpected, mysterious and hidden space. which seeks to take you away from the everyday life of the area, taking you to discover an unparalleled gourmet experience. The place seeks not only to give you dishes that satisfy your palate, but also to connect through all the senses, through music, lighting, textures and experiences that will create immersive moments for the diner. The name is inspired by the black pearl, a type of rare, exotic and coveted single pearl like our restaurant, also representing women as a symbol of strength and beauty, capturing on our walls images of unmatched women who leave their mark. Our motto “Love the taste, taste the love” encapsulates the essence of our restaurant which is dedicated to lovers of good food. The place opens its doors to the public on August 3, 2023 in the heart of La Condesa in Tamaulipas 134 in an old colonial house, which was completely redesigned to be the home of La Perla Negra; through a design inspired by the ocean that seeks to merge and connect generations through food, art and music with design by Estudio Ideartte and works by artist Jimena Meléndez @lajixmelendez, where through digital collages inspired by women iconic ones enhance the color palette of the place with bright hues that bring life to the walls of the place. The place has two levels and 3 private ones, where each space has its own personality that will take you into different environments in the same place, with a combination of eclectic furniture and unique decoration that gives La Perla Negra its style. The menu designed by executive chef Liz Fernández combines sea and land with elevated flavors and experiences that are not only delicious but plated to perfection; a visual and gastronomic proposal, with dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine with touches of international techniques where sauces, aiolis and reductions are what will enhance each ingredient. You will know our signature dishes, “La Perla Mexicana” a reinterpretation of the classic of street food classics; the skies. Combining white and blue corn served in their juice with house mayonnaise and fresh cheese, giving prominence to corn, an ancestral ingredient of Mexican cuisine which we seek to enhance in this dish that you will love. The most anticipated dessert by all is “The original black pearl”, a perfect sphere of flavor for chocolate lovers.
