Clemente Bar is an intimate cocktail lounge and tasting counter perched above Eleven Madison Park, featuring world-class cocktails and refined, plant-based dishes. A collaboration with Chef Daniel Humm’s friend and renowned contemporary artist Francesco Clemente, the space is a true “artist’s living room” where guests are surrounded by site-specific works by Clemente. The interiors, also featuring pieces by LA-based furniture designer Brett Robinson and custom lamps by German artist, Carsten Höller, are a nod to the art-filled walls at Kronenhalle, Chef Humm’s favorite bar growing up in his home country of Switzerland. Developed by Eleven Madison Park’s Beverage Director, Sebastian Tollius, the drink menu features a selection of playful and highly technical cocktails that draw on a diverse set of flavor profiles, from classic to nostalgic to unexpected. Each one is crafted to engage all of the senses, with a detailed focus on serviceware, garnishes, and small bites to complete the experience. The Studio at Clemente is an 8-seat tasting counter adjoining the lounge space. The Studio offers a ninety-minute multi-course experience, with the food menu driven by the cocktail pairings.
