Beloved NYC ice cream shop Morgenstern’s is thrilled to launch summer patio service with its upcoming partnership INTERMISSION with Jay Wolman previously of Mimi, LaLou, and King. The culinary collaboration will reimagine American Diner classics through a European lens at Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream at 88 W Houston St. With family from South Africa and London, combining cultures is not a foreign concept to Jay. His experience working in restaurants both stateside and in Europe inform his approach to merge flavors from different regions to create distinct and delicious dishes. The limited edition menu will be available from Tuesday, July 11th to Saturday, July 15th, and a limited selection of ice cream from Morgenstern’s menu will be available for purchase with patio service. The menu will feature buffalo frog legs, a ratatouille patty melt, a burger au poivre and more.
