Paquita is a tiny tea shop in the West Village with +/- 100 varieties of loose-leaf tea that line the walls in copper canisters. Salvaged wood detail, custom shelving and an ornamental tin ceiling add to the ambiance of this intimate space. Founded in 2021, the shop is owned and operated by fellow neighbor along with other West Village establishments such as Ad Hoc, Rosecrans and WEST10WEST; Paquita is named after her late grandmother who she grew up with. Aside from a large assortment of organic loose-leaf teas and botanicals, the shop also serves espresso based coffee drinks, matcha tea and lattes, assorted pastries and a newly launched tea service with petite sandwiches and a house baby wedge salad.
