Welcome to Decant!We are a family owned, neighborhood winery in Houston, Texas. We handcraft low intervention wines with primarily organic and sustainably grown grapes from around the country. All of the crushing, pressing, fermenting, barrel aging, and bottling is done on-site. Our wines are fresh, approachable and meant for everyday drinking.     Cookie Decorating Class

    Get into the holiday spirit with us! Learn to decorate Christmas sugar cookies, sip on wine, and enjoy some festive fun. This is a beginner friendly class so bring your friends, family, and holiday cheer. We'll cover simple piping techniques, how to make & use royal icing, and teach you how to decorate holiday cookies. WHAT TO EXPECT:- A variety of freshly baked sugar cookies in festive shapes- An assortment of colorful icing and decorations- Step by step instructions from our decorator- 1 glass of wine, aperitivo or spritz included- Receive 20% off all bottles purchased during/after the class- Classes start promptly at their scheduled time.     Wine and Winter Wreath Making

    Looking for a fun way to "spruce" up your holidays? Join us at the winery to create a fresh holiday wreath for your home and get in the holiday spirit!In this two hour class, we'll begin with a guided winter wreath making followed by a bow making lesson. Each class member will receive their own wreath frame, floral wire, a variety of fresh winter greens, and traditional red velvet ribbon. Guests are also welcome to bring additional holiday accents, ornaments, or their own ribbon to adorn their wreath.Also included are two glasses of wine and a small cheese and charcuterie box for you to enjoy during the class.

    Bottle Your Own Wine (BYOW)

    Get up close and personal with your wine! Our BYOW event provides you the opportunity to learn about wine production, tour the winery, and bottle wine. Come enjoy good company, great wine, and take home the wine you bottled. What to Expect: Each ticket includes a glass of wine, a cheese & charcuterie cup, and the wine you bottled. What Wine are you Bottling: TBDWhat if I want more than 1 bottle?You can fill and take home as much wine as the legal limit (~45 bottles) will allow. Each additional bottle that you fill is yours for $30/bottle.

    Join us for a FREE Movie Night! We're doing a Hocus Pocus double feature: Hocus Pocus starting at 6:00pm followed by Hocus Pocus 2 at 8pm!     Halloween Wine & Cheese Board Building Class

    If you are a wine & cheese enthusiast, then our Halloween Cheese Board Building class is for you! In this class, we'll begin with a guided wine, cheese, and Halloween candy tasting followed by an in-depth board building lesson. Each class member will have their own personal slate board to customize, picking from an array of artisanal cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables, crackers, nuts, dips and garnish. As we guide you through the process, you'll have the opportunity to taste and experiment with a selection of seasonal cheeses, and learn the principles of pairing different textures and flavors. You’ll gain insights into the delicate balance between cheese profiles and wine characteristics, elevate your tasting skills, and learn how to build dreamy, delicious, and festive boards!What to Expect: Each ticket includes two glasses of wine, a slate board with soapstone chalk, festive cheese & charcuterie board with accoutrements, and a 20% off discount on bottles purchased at the event.

    Join us for our Fall Release Party!We're celebrating the release of our new wines and the Fall Allocation! During the party, you will receive four tickets to taste each of the new releases and light bites will be provided.We will also have your allocation ready for pickup!We have a few reminders for you before you come and see us:-You are more than welcome to come anytime from 6 - 9 PM to enjoy the party! -This event is free for up to 2 people per membership. Guest tickets are also available for purchase at the event ($35) if you would like to bring non-member friends. *Please RSVP for non-member friends so that we have an accurate headcount*-Please, no outside food or drink.-We are dog friendly on the patio and in the warehouse, so feel free to bring your leashed pups!
