    Hook + Line Winemaker Dinner: Weingut Prager

    Join us on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM for an unforgettable evening with Sophie Bodenstein, owner of Weingut Prager Wine, coupled with an exquisite reception into a 4-course dinner by Chef Patrick Lipscomb. World Cultural Heritage coupled with an Austrian landscape that is nothing short of inspirational—welcome to the Wachau, the narrow Danube River Valley running from Melk to Krems. Extraordinarily distinctive wines grow on 1,344 hectares, a great many of them on steeply terraced hillsides, wines which may be declared as “Wachau DAC” as of the 2020 vintage. Some of the world’s greatest white wines, with decades of potential for development, are produced from the best vineyard sites, especially from Grüner Veltliner + Riesling.

    Join us on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM for an unforgettable evening with the renowned Pepe Raventós, where we'll kick off the night with passed appetizers followed by an exquisite 4-course dinner. Pepe Raventós, whose deep-rooted connection to winemaking spans 21 generations at the historic Raventós i Blanc estate, brings a wealth of passion and expertise to this event. The estate, founded in 1497, is nestled in Sant Sadurní and has become a global reference for sustainable viticulture, crafting some of the world’s finest sparkling wines with minimal human intervention. In 2012, Pepe boldly left the Cava DO to establish the Conca del Riu Anoia, a new designation that celebrates indigenous grape varieties and biodynamic farming.
