We lit our fireplaces for the first time in 1932, although history does not remember the exact date when we began this journey. The old post house and dairy farm from previous years, was converted by "birlibirloque art" and with a lot of work, into a restaurant. The start of the Spanish Civil War meant that the Mesón was temporarily closed until 40, the year in which the doors were reopened thanks to a loan of 1,000 pesetas. We were able to serve our customers thanks to the flour purchased from black market to be able to make bread and with the first "success" dish, Lean on Horseback, which consisted of a fillet with two eggs on top and hidden under French fries, in those times it was hard to see it… and eat it.
