Continent Brooklyn is a Caribbean-Asian fusion restaurant that celebrates the Caribbean's diverse cultures and influences and its unique identity as its own "continent." The 110-seat culinary-driven destination lies at the heart of the borough's most beloved food scene with an ultra-chic ambiance and magnetic atmosphere. Located on the ground floor of Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, the 3,000+ sq ft. bi-level space features a main dining floor with two-story floor-to-ceiling windows, a mezzanine dining floor, two full-service bars, a garden courtyard, and a bi-level private terrace. After establishing a continued presence in Atlanta, Georgia, and opening the original Continent Restaurant and Cigar Lounge there, renowned Chef Scotley Innis brings back his New York City origins to celebrate the bold energy of Brooklyn. A culinary journey infused with inventive flavors inspired by Chef Innis’ Jamaican roots and co-owner Aliya Huey's Asian-African heritage, the menu brings international, ingredient-driven cooking to the forefront. Dishes are inspired by Caribbean culture and cut across borders like the Chinese-Jamaican-inspired Oxtail Lo Mein and Tamarind Wings, West African-inspired Suya Lamb Chops, Pan-seared Chilean Salmon served with callaloo gnocchi, and a 34 oz. jerk-rubbed Tomahawk Steak. Continent Brooklyn's memorable cocktail menu takes guests around the globe, with exotic ingredients offering new takes on the classics and inventive new imbibing options like the Continent Punch served in a coconut shell with a flaming lime, and the Stush Martini served with a flower-infused ice ball. Designed to feel intimate yet vibrant, Continent Brooklyn features a palette of gray and blue velvet banquettes and black dining tables, all accented by eye-catching decor. In the rear dining area, a towering custom mural painted by local artist Jermaine Percey Neal features dozens of abstract faces in bold colors and strokes, evocative of Brooklyn's diverse and dynamic cultural fabric.
