Established in 2012, John McCormick, owner of Williamsburg institution Cafe Moto and designer of many local favorite hangouts including Five Leaves, Maison Premiere and Spritzenhaus, created St. Mazie and the speakeasy bar beneath, St. Charles Cellar, as an inviting and elegant drinking and dining spot. St. Mazie is a cocktail bar with oysters, happy hour, a full restaurant upstairs and a speakeasy in the cellar, a garden with a delightful overgrown grapevine, and daily live music ranging from Flamenco to Gypsy Jazz to 50's vinyl DJ's.
