    Underground Gourmet by John Anthony

    Underground Gourmet by John Anthony is an exclusive culinary experience reserved for a handful of guests. You and your fellow diners will be welcomed with a glass of La Dame Michele sparkling before being whisked away by Alta Luxury Transportation shuttles to an undisclosed location in Los Carneros. Arrive at our beautifully transformed vineyard estate and marvel at the architectural masterpiece that sets the stage for the wonderful evening ahead. Mingle with your fellow guests and your hosts, Michele and John Anthony Truchard, while enjoying a selection of hors d’oeuvres. Find your place setting at the dinner table nestled amongst the vines. Each course of this seated dinner is carefully curated by our Estate Chef, Logan Foos, formerly of the French Laundry, and paired with our highly anticipated 2024 Fall Release. Throughout the evening, Vintners John and Michele Truchard will join each table, celebrating the heritage, winegrowing, and winemaking behind John Anthony Vineyards over the past two decades. After dinner, indulge in a selection of decadent desserts alongside a library Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc sourced from the vines within view. Guests may also take advantage of access to library releases from the cellar available to acquire on this night only.     Come enjoy a special selection of wines with our Estate Chef Logan Foos while he prepares al minute small bites to pair with each of the wine selections made by our sommelier driven hospitality team.This is a bespoke, private experience for $100 per person that is only available on June 23rd, July 21st, August 18th, and September 22nd.     In celebration of the upcoming 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon harvest in Napa Valley, John Anthony Vineyards is presenting a vertical tasting of select vintages of our signature Cabernet Sauvignon. The limited tasting will showcase its age-ability and cellar-ability. Join the John Anthony wine education team in downtown Napa for a side-by-side of the 2008, 2009, 2018 and 2019 John Anthony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. These estate wines are sourced and blended from across John Anthony’s estates which originated in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley and over time have expanded to include hidden-gem vineyards in Calistoga and Coombsville.
