We are a Japanese restaurant & bar in Minneapolis. 33 North 1st Ave, Second Floor.Now open Wednesday-Sunday for omakase reservations & Tuesdays for Kaiseki reservations. Gori Gori Peku, our Japanese whisky bar, is open for walk-ins every day, but does not accept reservations.We are charging a 21% service charge on all checks in order to support fair wages for all staff. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 177.23, subdivision 9, this charge is not a gratuity for employee service.

    Kaiseki Furukawa Chef's Counter Reservation

    Kaiseki is a form of Japanese cooking that draws its philosophy from tea ceremony traditions in 16th-century Kyoto, Japan. At its core is the belief that we are at our best when we experience every moment with one another as if it were a once-in-a-lifetime gathering. As a culinary expression, Kaiseki is a reflection of the season—an intricate rhythm of taste and texture brought forth in a progression of courses.Due to the nature of the cuisine, we are not able to provide vegetarian, vegan, soy-free, or gluten-free menus.Extensive preparation begins 48 hours before your meal so unfortunately we cannot reschedule or accommodate cancellations within that time frame. We are including a 21% service charge on all checks in order to support fair wages for all staff. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 177.23, subdivision 9, this charge is not a gratuity for employee service.

    Join us for the omakase experience in our second floor dining room.Please provide advance notice of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Due to the prominent role of soy sauce on our menu, we ask for advanced notice of any gluten-free diners in your party. Due to the nature of the cuisine, we are not able to provide vegetarian, vegan, or soy-free menus.For parties larger than 4, please reach out to us at info@kadonomise.com.Extensive preparation begins 48 hours before your meal so unfortunately we cannot reschedule or accommodate cancellations within that time frame.
