    Whiskey Curious

    Always wanted to know more about bourbon, rye and whisk(e)y, but intimidated by where to start? Join Picnic owner, bourbon enthusiast and mompreneur E Kitzenberg and her team to demystify the good brown and help discover what YOU like. This is not an old boys club whiskey tasting. Your ticket includes a 90 minute introduction to whiskey and includes a cocktail, 4 half ounce pours and Picnic pub mix. Additional food and drink available for purchase. This event offered monthly and is capped at 15 attendees for an intimate experience.

    Whiskey Snobs Batch 2: Brother Justus

    For Batch 2 of Whiskey Snobs, we're putting the focus on Minnesota. Phil Steger, Founder & CEO of Brother Justus will join us for a special evening tasting through his award winning portfolio of American Single Malt Whiskeys. The Picnic bar team has been carefully aging our Brother Justus Old Fashioned in a barrel Phil gifted us from his distillery. We will kick off the night with this collaborative cocktail. Ticket price includes a 4 course dinner with Brother Justus drink pairings. Chef Andrew will prepare a Minnesota inspired menu to match Brother Justus lineup of Minnesota made spirits. Whiskey Snobs is tailored to those who have an affinity or curiosity for whiskey. You don't have to be a collector or aficionado. You actually don't have to know anything about whiskey, but it will be more fun if you do!Seating is extremely limited.

    Whiskey Snobs Batch 3: Woodford Reserve

    For Picnic Whiskey Snobs Batch 3, we're headed back to Kentucky. Fellow whiskey snob Andrew Avila of Brown Forman will join your host E Kitzenberg to taste through a full run of Woodford Reserve. Caping off the night, we will enjoy Woodford Reserve's 2024 Master’s Collection release, the first from female Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. She experimented with finishing Woodford Reserve's bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskies in Madeira barrels— creating uniquely fruit-forward whiskies. This will be a unique opportunity to taste her first release under her name.
