    Signature Afternoon Tea

    Beginning June 1, Afternoon Tea at the Rittenhouse is now a ticketed event, as opposed to allowing traditional reservations. You may purchase your base tickets here on Tock, but also purchase a la carte amenities and upgrades once seated in the Tea Room.Afternoon Tea is synonymous with the Rittenhouse Hotel and this new iteration of the timeless tradition welcomes the next generation of tea enthusiasts. Select from our intensely curated tea list to find the perfect complement to our sandwiches, scones, desserts and mignardises.Please note that any and all food modifications (including allergies) must be submitted 48 hours prior to your visit to ensure the kitchen's ability to make proper substitutions.There is no difference in price between children and adults, however we can prepare kid-friendly sandwiches in lieu of the traditional menu. All reservations will have access to their table for 90 minutes, beginning from the reservation start time, not physical arrival time.

    Celestial Tea Blending Workshop

    Continuing by popular demand! Embark on a Celestial Tea Blending journey at The Rittenhouse’s Mary Cassatt Tea Room. Starting at 7pm on select dates, guests can craft their own unique blend of tea guided by AJ Memmo and staff at experiential stations dedicated to the four elements: air, fire, water and earth. Featuring an array of teas, botanicals, herbs and spices complementing the astrological signs, guests are invited to sip their custom celestial-inspired brew over a selection of decadent afternoon tea bites before taking their blend home for continued enjoyment. The enchanting evening is made complete by personal tarot card readings! Tickets are required and cost $120 per person.

    Join us as we welcome back our beloved tradition of Teddy Bear Tea here at the Rittenhouse Hotel. The Mary Cassatt Tea Room proudly hosts our special holiday Afternoon Tea service aimed at our youngest guests. Enjoy hot chocolate, homemade marshmallows and a one-of-a-kind food menu while listening to festive harp renditions of your favorite holiday classics and indulging in Story Time with take-home treats. End the day properly by bringing home a brand new teddy bear and memories to last a lifetime.

    The Mary Cassatt Tea Room proudly welcomes you to our second annual Pumpkin Patch Tea!Join us as we reintroduce the newest iteration of the event. This time, it’s a costume party! Muchlike our beloved Teddy Bear Tea that charms our youngest guests during the winter holidays,this unique Fall event will offer a seasonal menu, hot apple cider, autumnal tea selections andwill culminate with each child picking their own pumpkin and decorating it in the courtyard! All children in attendance will be welcomed to wear a costume of their choosing and yes, there will be prizes!
