Thacher Winery is a scenic, family-owned, and operated boutique winery and tasting room in the heart of Paso Robles, California. Our wines are made with minimal intervention and native ferments created in the vineyard. This beautiful ranch offers plenty of fresh air and shade.     Funky Fridays

    Calling all wine geeks, lovers, and wannabes! Funky Fridays are here! Come out and taste something new. We will offer this fun and funky-tasting menu every Friday on our lower patio. You will have the opportunity to taste some of our obscure and lesser-known varietals, such as Cab Pfeff, Mencía, Cinsaut, Negrette, and Validguié, to name a few. We will discuss native, carbonic, whole cluster, and co-fermentation. Maybe even a pétillant naturel? The tasting menu will rotate but always be fresh, unconventional, and striking. We promise! This experience is $30 per tasting and waived with the purchase of 2 bottles.

    Stables Tour and Tasting

    The Stables Tour and Tasting is offered Fridays through Sundays at 11:30 am. This two-hour elevated tour and wine tasting provides one-on-one attention with a dedicated wine educator who will guide you through the property and a selection of exclusive wines. You can taste rare varietals, current releases, library offerings, and reserve wines. The Stables Tour and Tasting take place in newly renovated, old horse stables and are limited to a maximum of 12 adults, ages 21 +. Please, no children or pets.

    Wine Tasting at Thacher Winery

    For decades, quarter horses, cattle, and cowboys roamed the grassy hills of the historic Kentucky Ranch. Today, we are full of casual charm, reminiscent of California's past and present. Our wines are grown in the vineyard and made with minimal intervention, minimal sulfites, and natively fermented.
