    Pasta Like a Pro: 10/5, 10/19

    Learn the art of handmade pasta from Olivia's co-owner, head chef and pasta whisperer, Ty Leon. This is a hands-on class, be ready to roll up your sleeves and roll out the dough. Chef Ty will walk you through Olivia's tried-and-true noodle recipes, sharing stories of his favorite ingredients and techniques, as well as instructions for cooking the perfect al dente dish. Bring your questions to this beginner-friendly class, and leave with your own batch of fresh pasta.Price includes a light snack, and a jar of Olivia's house made pasta sauce. Aprons will be provided for use during the class.

    Super Tuscan Wine Dinner with Ambrogio Cremona Ratti of Tenuta Sette Cieli 10/24

    We are excited to present our first Bolgheri wine dinner showcasing the remarkable wines of Tenuta Setti Cieli, located along Tuscany’s scenic coast. This region is celebrated for its Cabernet-based blends and forward-thinking approach in the Italian wine world.Tenuta Sette Cieli, a relatively young yet highly acclaimed winery, is helmed by Ambrogio, whose sole focus is producing exceptional Bordeaux varietal wines. Renowned labels like Scipio and Indaco have garnered widespread acclaim from top critics and wine journalists globally, earning their place as some of Bolgheri's most sought-after wines.During this exclusive dinner, we’ll feature all four of Ambrogio’s wines from various vintages, providing Chef Ty and our culinary team the opportunity to craft a distinctive Restaurant Olivia-style menu. The featured wines—Yantra, Scipio, Indaco, and Noi 4—each offer unique expressions based on their blends.Join us for an intimate gathering of just 12 guests at our community table, where you’ll enjoy unparalleled access to Ambrogio’s insights.     Barolo Wine Dinner with Enrico Rivetto 10/30

    We are absolutely delighted to welcome our dear friend and extraordinary winemaker, Enrico Rivetto, for a truly unforgettable wine dinner. Enrico is a visionary leader in the Barolo region, steering his family's multi-generational estate toward a sustainable and innovative future. Rivetto’s Lirano estate, the first in the Barolo region to be certified biodynamic, sits just west of Serralunga d'Alba and thrives with biodiversity. It’s difficult to describe, but this land exudes an energy unlike any other in the Langhe, which is reflected in the wines. Enrico’s commitment extends beyond winemaking; he even established a non-profit grade school to teach the importance of agriculture and biodiversity within the community. Focusing exclusively on native grape varieties such as Nascetta, Barbera, and Nebbiolo, we’ll experience the diversity of seven of Enrico’s wines, paired perfectly with five Piedmont-inspired courses prepared by Chef Ty and the culinary team.If you are a fan of Nebbiolo, this dinner is not to be missed, as we’ll experience this grape in five forms, including Enrico’s Barbaresco, Riserva Barolo, Barolo del Serralunga, and some special surprises.     Apericena - Italian Road Trip: Rare Varieties and Hidden Gems

    Apericena (a - per - ee - chaina) - a social hour that begins as an aperitivo and segues into a wine-filled dinner. We can call this a sip and learn, a wine class, or just a great excuse to gather in conviviality as we explore wines.The night is all about discovering new varieties, exploring perhaps unknown regions, and uncovering artisan producers. With Italy's 550+ native grape varieties and over 400 delineated wine appellations, there's no shortage of opportunities to delve into the complexities of the peninsula, from sparkling to still, sweet to dry, and red to white. Each class will explore different grapes and regions, so attending the entire series will offer you a comprehensive glimpse into the diverse world of Italian wines.Our wine director, certified Italian Wine Ambassador, and educator, Scott Thomas, will lead the class, presenting a selection of eight wines accompanied by a light, two-pasta dinner and chef-curated charcuterie. With only ten seats available, this exclusive event ensures a deeper appreciation for the wines of Italy, as well as lively conversation around our communal table.
