Sommelier Sessions at CUT: Intro to New World and Old World Wines
Experience the art of wine with CUT by Wolfgang Puck’s exclusive quarterly wine classes, led by our expert Sommelier, David D. Denton. Each session, guided by David’s extensive industry knowledge, will explore seasonal wine themes, offering both education and enjoyment. Join us to deepen your wine understanding, savor unique selections, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. CUT will provide small bites to accompany your tasting experience. This class, we will focus on New World VS Old World and explore the basics of winemaking and tasting.About the Sommelier:David D. Denton is the sommelier at CUT by Wolfgang Puck at the Rosewood Hotel in Washington D.C. He is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Bordeaux Educator through the L’Ecole du Vin Bordeaux, and holds the Official Sherry Educator title from the Consejo Regulator of Sherry. David has served as the head sommelier for many prestigious global wine events, including the WineFuture conferences, Society of Wine Educator conferences, and the Vinoble Fortified and Dessert Wine Festival in Spain.
