Housed in a former tomato packing warehouse in the historic Ivy City neighborhood of DC, Gravitas a 1 Star Michelin Guide restaurant, with a tasting menu destination from chef-owner Matt Baker. The menu, which changes with the seasons, draws inspiration from local produce and products, while the industrial-modern space (read: original brick and steel beams) boasts antique, floor-to-ceiling windows, which provides for an airy and whimsical dining experience.

    Thanksgiving at Gravitas

    The Gravitas Thanksgiving experience combines the traditional fall flavors with a Michelin-style flare. This 4-course prix fixe menu is a full showcase of what Gravitas has to offer! Our Thanksgiving experience will be available on Thursday, November 23rd, from 11:00 a.m.- to 8:00 p.m., for $135 per person or $35 per child (8 and younger) (exclusive of tax and gratuity)We strive to source the very best products that the Mid-Atlantic has to offer; crafting a seasonal Chef curated Thanksgiving meal from our family to yours.

    Chef’s 6-Course Tasting Menu

    Gravitas’ 6-course prix fixe menu is a full showcase of what Gravitas has to offer! The 6-course experience is available Wednesday-Friday from 5 pm-close, and Saturday-Sunday from 4:30pm-close in our dining room, for $165 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity). We strive to source the very best products that the Mid-Atlantic has to offer; Our menu is seasonal and changes frequently!

    Chef's Counter 15 Course Experience

    Join us at the Chef's Counter for a highly interactive 15-course tasting experience, presented by the Gravitas Chef team. This experience is limited to two guests due to space. Please email info@gravitasdc about securing a Chef Counter experience in our main dining room for 3 or more guests! The chef counter experience is $260 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). Pre-purchased supplements are available within the booking process: A5 Miyazaki Wagyu $90, and Premium Beverage Pairings $170. Pairings may be selected upon arrival as well.
