As Chicagoans, our lived experiences heightened our understanding that in the heart of intercultural solidarity - between indigenous and non-indigenous, between Mexican and Guatemalan- lies one clear message: we work together because we can see ourselves in each other. “It’s a beautiful day on the block.” is a seven course dinner pop-up/supper club highlighting the immigrant experience and the Chicago melting pot.
