Chef Nana Wilmot was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey by way of Philadelphia. She grew up a first-generation Ghanaian American with her older brother Kobi and parents Olivia and Peter. Raised by her grandmother Georgina, who returned to Ghana in Nana’s high school years, she spent a lot of time in the kitchen.
