Established in 2002 as the first Turkish Restaurant in San Francisco, A La Turca is the recipient of awards including "Best Turkish Restaurant" by local newspapers' reader polls. Nothing goes better with our freshly prepared appetizers than our home made pide bread, crispy outside and chewy inside. A La Turca dishes are made from scratch each and every day according to traditional Turkish recipes, and the portions are generous. If you are new to Turkish cuisine, you will want to try the platter, which includes lamb chop, beef shish, chicken shish, koefte, lamb/beef gyro, doener, rice and salad. Or Lahmacun (Turkish thin pizza) which locals order by the dozen. If Turkish cuisine is among your favorites, you will not want to miss the housemade doener, iskender kebab and beyti.
